The US never minted a silver cent. For starters, it would be worth more than a dime!
If you have a Lincoln cent from 1912, it was plated for use in jewelry or something similar. That makes it an altered coin worth face value only. Unplated, its value could have been much more depending on its condition and mint mark.
About $2.00 only for the silver.
A 1912 Nickel was called: a Liberty Head 5 Cent piece - if its condition is at least very good (VG8), its value is: $4.00.
Its value is 50 cents and has no silver at all in it.
1966 Kennedy half dollar is 40% silver and valued at about $2.50 for the silver.
Look at the again, with a date of 1854 it's not a nickel three cent piece, it should be a silver three cent piece. Post new question.
