Answer
If you have a 1921 Morgan Dollar (eagle has wings spread wide), this is the most common date for Morgan Dollars -- worth about $15.00 in circulated condition, and $30-40 for a nice uncirculated one.
If you have a 1921 Peace Dollar (eagle in profile with wings folded), this is a rare date for Peace Dollars -- worth about $75 if well circulated, about $100 if only lightly circulated, or about $175 or more for a nice uncirculated one.
Please note also that ALL U.S. coins carry the motto E Pluribus Unum ("Out of many, one") so that's not a distinguishing characteristic. Denomination, design, date and mint mark are normally the most useful pieces of information to provide as a starting point.
1921 Morgan Silver Dollars
The 1921 mintage of Morgan Dollars almost equaled the production from all the previous years so to collectors they are as common as dirt. Well-worn examples cost $16 or less. Only the very best uncirculated grades bring more than $100.
1921 Peace Dollars
1921 is a rare date for Peace dollars (the design has the word PEACE on the reverse). Well-worn its worth about $75 -- lightly worn about $100 -- uncirculated about $175 or more.
Answer
There were two varieties issued that year. The most common one used the previous Morgan design until the new Peace design became available.
Assuming you have a Morgan dollar, regardless of mint mark or condition it's worth roughly $15 to $17 at retail.
On the off chance you have a Peace dollar (see the reverse side) its value would be much higher, between $90 and $130 depending on condition.
