∙ 14y agoDuring the hyper-inflationary era or 1920-1924, denominations of German Mark increased from "normal" values like 10 Marks in 1920 up to 100,000,000,000,000 Marks in 1924.
The 10 Milliarden (10,000,000,000) Mark note dated October 1923, in crisp used condition is worth about $15, with a few rare exceptions which depend on the watermarks. Mint condition uncirculated examples are worth about $75.

∙ 11y agoMost of the hyper-infaltionary German bank notes of 1923 are essentially valueless. In excellent uncirculated condition they might be worth US$5 to US$10 but in circulated condition with wear and creases are worth considerably less, perhaps $2 to $4 at best.
