What is the value of a Hull Woodland console bowl? |

Answer
The question is too broad to answer properly. Lets start with the code for the console bowl, which is printed on the bottom of every Woodland console bowl - W29
Hull has many styles, Woodland happens to be the one I collect, and within each stye are many item and each item is identified by its own code on the bottom. So far so good. Now comes the tricky part. We have matte and glossy. Glossy obviously looks much nicer because it's all bright and shiny but it's worth less than matte because matte was made first. Then with every W29 you have many different color patterns, some more rare than others. The one I collect is pretty rare, it is dark green on the base, white, going to sky blue on the top. It always has a pink flower, green leaves and if there are handles they are twig shaped/coloured. One in good condition in this style will go for $125 - if you can find it. I've also seen the most common colour, bottom pink, body white going to light green at the top, get that much. Hang around ebay and you can pick them up for $65 in good condition, but be willing to wait. The truth is, as usual, they are worth what ever somebody is willing to pay for them at the time.
Now if they are damaged, especially hairline cracks, then I wouldn't touch them, not if you are buying them for resale value. If you just want it to look good around the house then go for it.
