The Marlin firearms Co.made the Model 27 slide action rifle in 25-20WCF from 1910-1911.It had a 2/3 tube magazine,7shot,24in octagon barrel with open sights,and a plain straight grip stock.It also made the Model 27S which had a safety button on the right hand side of the receiver in either round or octagon barrel.this was made in the year 1913.I hope that this helps.
