I have a Marlin 1893 in .30 WCF (30-30) I inherited it. I brought it to my local gunsmith, for some person in the past had removed the iron sights..I wanted them replaced with original stuff if possible. He told me that after the gum was complete it would fetch 850-1000 dollars for the Marlins are much rarer than the Winchester levers of that era.
Depends on the condition. Also depends on the manufacture date. I have one that was manufactured in 1902 and it was valued at about $300.00 to $400.00 as it is in what collectors consider poor condition. I think it's in pretty good condition for a 110 year old gun. I still use mine to hunt. In very good condition they can go as high as $2500.00. I would say take it to a dealer and have them grade it and you be able to get a better idea. Like anything else it's worth what someone is willing to pay.
