What is the value of a oahu publishing company lap steel guitar? |
[Edit] |
Hard to say without more info
The Oahu Publishing Company didn't actually make any guitars; they sold a range of acoustic and electric guitars made for them by a variety other guitar makers as an adjunct to their music publishing business.
Without knowing more about your particular guitar its impossible to guess the value. The student-grade Oahu acoustic lap steels (which are by far the most common) seem to be going for $75 to $150 these days, but your best bet would be to find Oahu guitars like yours on eBay by comparing pictures and descriptions and see how much they go for.
Here's a video from an Oahu guitar fan with more info on these instruments:

Even he says "they were cheap then and they're cheap now".
