The value of an old firearm depends almost entirely on condition and desirability. In the case of the Remington 510 it is a very desirable 22 cal., rifle. The 510 is light, short and very accurate. It may be one of, if not, the finest training rifle ever made for young shooter/students. When the bolt is thrown on a 510 the safety automatically goes to the safe position, unlike the other Remington 500 series bolt-action rifles. A 100% original 510 in excellent condition, with a good bore and no external rust or pits will bring $175.00 to $225.00. As the condition worsens, the price goes down accordingly. I have bought "dogs", just for parts for as little as $50. Ed
