I just bought one on consignment for $ 650. ......................... This is a most excellent .45 that will even feed empty cases and is accurate. I just bought a used 4506-1 off AuctionArms for $410. Slide is soft enough metal to get skuffed up from holster rash but I plan to buff it out to give a shiny stainless finish. Easy to do and looks a lot like chrome plate. ProMag makes a nice after market 10 round mag for about twenty bucks. Just a small extension under grips. There are a lot of used police carry models coming on market with lots of carry but little firing. Tend to work well but you may want to do a little buffing out on finish. Inexpensive replacement grips are easy to find also. Finally, Wolff Springs at gunsprings.com carries replacement recoil springs for under 9 bucks. Always a good idea with a used auto because that spring can get old and tired. I'd recommend going about 2 pounds rating above factory to really smooth out recoil unless you are going to fire really light target handloads. Good hunting, Tom
