I have not yet tried flying with Korean airlines, however I have been a frequent flyer on other asian airlines going to the Philippines. Normally, asian airlines allowes 20kgs on check-in baggages & 7kgs for hand carry luggage. Remember that your laptop weight isn't included in your hand carry luggage. If in doubt, go to korean airlines official website for more details. Hope it helps.
