To loose weight fast you want to cut back on the grains, as they add a lot of extra weight. Add more veggies, make them the focal point of the meal. Treats like icecream don't need to be eliminated, but reduced. Think single dip, not double

It depends on the tomato. A cherry or grape tomato can weigh mere ounces. A better or bigger boy can pounds one or two pounds. A roma or earlygirl can weigh 1/3 to 1/2 pound. A beefsteak can weigh up to 2-3 pounds. I grew a better boy tomato two years ago that was nine and a half inches in diameter that weighed 3 pounds.

A medium sized, globe tomato (the tomato that most of us think of when we think of tomatoes and by far the most common) will weigh around 4 ounces (115 grams).

In Central America the weight is 80-90 grams each. You can get 5 or 6 tomatoes in the market for every pound you buy.

A Mortgage Lifter can weigh more than two pounds, but the little "on-the-vine" things you buy in the supermarket weigh 3-4 ounces.

There is no "average". There are dozens of tomato types and almost all are different weight.
