All silver certificates and many other older bills carry that phrase so more information is needed.
Please post a new question with the bill's seal color, and whether there is a small letter next to the date.
The largest denomination struck in 1950 was a half-dollar. Double eagle coins were discontinued after 1932. Please check again and post a new question.

$50 is all it is worth. No one will give you a penny more for it. I have several thousand $50 bills dating from 1950's through 2009. Each one is worth exactly, $50.
In 1862 the United States passed a law known as "The Legal Tender Act" as a part of this law was 'the Parity Act" which stated in relevant part that all legal tender will hold the face value of the note. So in essence a dollar in 1933, 1950 and in todays money is still worth the same because 'law' says it MUST be. The buying power of that money however does change, in 1950 a loaf of bread cost $0.14 per loaf today it would cost $2.00 per loaf (avg) - so if we use that buying power as a guide the dollar in 1950 was worth 7.5 dollars in 2009 (simplified). It was probably not accepted by target because it looks so different than the current 20 dollar bills. See the related question below for its value.
In 1950, one dollar was worth one dollar. Adjusted for inflation, one dollar in 1950 is just under $10 in 2014.
A circulated 1950 D one-hundred dollar bill is worth about $140. If the bill was not in circulation, it can have a value of about $175.
No. US one dollar bills were not made in 1950.
There was no US silver dollar minted in 1950. If you mean a half dollar, it would be worth at least its value in silver which as of writing is about $7.70 but it would be worth more in better condition. As with all old coins, cleaning harms the value.
$100.
One dollar
99% of the time a 1950 $10 bill is just worth $10. If it is an error, star note, or in perfect condition it could be worth more.
twenty dollars
What is a 1950 one hundred dollar bill without "In God We Trust" worth?
You could buy something worth 8.91 cents in 2009
None of them. 1950-series $10 bills remain common among collectors. There's more information at the question "What is the value of a 1950 US 10 dollar bill?".
At present, it's worth just over $10 ($10.25 as of 19 June 2012).
