1955 and 1960 are the years in which the song "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" was written.
Specifically, the song draws upon an original Russian text and owes its English-language existence to two writers. Its first three verses were written by Pete Seeger (born 1919) in 1955. Joe Hickerson (born 1935) wrote the remaining verses in May 1960.
