The specific year of creation can not be determined by history nor by science. If you ask 10 scientists, you will get 10 different answers.

Through reading the Bible, you can come to find that the world is somewhere between 6 thousand to 9 thousand years old, contrary to the billions that scientists will tell you.

There is really no set date. But if you think about it in years , it depends on your belief. Some people believe in the big bang, wholesome people believe that God created the Earth.

Indeed, the "year of creation" can only be guessed at or estimated. The Bible provided a way that some calculations may be made to provide some kind of answer. Science has a different view, and has tools and methodology to provide another "likely period" in which creation occurred.

The first posted answer contained the idea that asking 10 different scientists would net 10 different answers. This might be true. But if it did, the answers would all fall within a "window" of around 4.5 to 4.6 billion years, which is the age of the earth. It is doubtful that many scientists would agree with an age of a few thousand years. Few really subscribe to the idea that the earth is that young. And, because there is so much data supporting the scientifically set age, accepting the idea of a "young earth" requires a broad suspension of rational thought.
