vvti timing
I think it is a timing belt i have 2001 rav4 1az-fe 2.0 vvti
If the Toyota Celica VVTI is not blowing hot air through the heater, but the engine is overheating, there could be a problem with the radiator being plugged up. Sediment sometimes builds up in the radiator that can clog thermostats. Another problem might be the thermostat sticking or the water pump is leaking.
Usually states that the engine has a fuel injection system. An example could be a Rover 214 Si which would be Sports injection. Or a Toyota Celica VVTi for Variable Valve Timing Injection.
It depends on the engine. I have a 2002 Camry XLE with a 4cyl which has VVTi and it has a chain.
toyota corolla 1.4 VVti
standard torque on any head is about 80 lbs to 90 lb torque
Hi, It's a VVTi motor! It has 1,4cc and 1,6cc editions!
No, The VVTi 1MZFE will not work. The physical changes to the heads and the block to accomodate the added oil passages, as well as the added sencors and electrical interfaces will not work either. In addition, the ECU is completely different. It PHYSICALLY might "fit" but without a lot of additional work, it is just not realistic. It is cheaper to just purchase the Toyota with the VVTi.
Located under the nice plastic VVTI shield on the right side of the engine. It has a rubber hose hooked up to it and it screws into the top of the engine block valve area. I believe it was $12 at Autozone.
