In this last November, I purchased the same exact coin at a gun and coin show in Albuquerque. I was very excited because I believed it to be a very rare find. I showed it to my friend who is an avid coin collector and he was excited too.
I finally got the chance today to get it appraised at a coin show. I did, and unfortunately, those are all fake.
Carson City did not even receive dies for coins until 1870 or so. The mint didn't open until then either. All of these coins, and there seems to be alot going around, are clever counterfeits.
Sorry to break the news to you, good luck in the future!

The earliest Carson City silver dollar is the 1870-CC Seated Liberty dollar.
No the first Carson City Dollar coin was the 1870 Seated Liberty
Look at the coin again all 1845 Liberty Seated dollars were struck in Philadelphia, so an 1845 can't have a CC mintmark, and the Carson City Mint did not exist in 1845.
It is a counterfeit.
The Carson City Mint did not exist in 1842, so no Liberty Seated dollar dated 1842 could have a "CC" Mintmark.
A 1840cc Liberty Seated is counterfeit. Carson City Mint was built in 1869 and struck coins from 1870 to 1893
Aside from the minor differences in design, the greatest difference between the US Trade Dollar and the Seated Liberty Dollar is the weight. The Liberty Seated Dollar weighs 26.73 grams while the US Trade Dollar weighs 27.22 grams. Both contained 90% silver and 10% copper altthough the Trade Dollar had slightly more silver in it. The Trade Dollar was issued primarily for circulation in the Orient while the Seated Liberty Dollar was issued for circulation in the USA.
One of the easiest and most accurate ways to determine the authenticity is to weigh it. A genuine Seated Liberty silver dollar should weigh 26.73 grams.
Washington has never been on a silver dollar. An 1865 U.S. silver dollar is one of the Liberty Seated series of coins.
Well its about 100-200$ if it is in good condition.
No president is on any silver dollar. With a date of 1841 the coin is of the Liberty Seated series that were made from 1840 to 1873.
