What motor is in a 1994 Isuzu Npr?

A 1994 Isuzu NPR has the 4BD2 engine 4 cylinder turbo. Can also be found (as a Chevy W-4 Tiltmaster; same chassis and a lot of common parts as NPR) with a Chevy 5.7L engine and 4L80E transmission.

How much does 3.9 L Isuzu 4BD2-TC weight?

I've heard 500lb. dry weight and 750 with fluids/accessories.

What motor is in a 1998 Isuzu npr?

It depends on if it's a gas or diesel. If its gasoline then the 98 came with a TBI chevy 5.7L 350CID. Later on they went to multi-port fuel injection on the same 5.7L and in 2008 went to the bigger 6.0L gasoline engine. If it's an diesel then it will have a 4bd2-t and a 4bd2-tc (3.9L) then in 1998 to 2004 it was the 4hei-sx (4.8L) and 2004-present it is now the 4hk (5.2L).

Fluid capacities for Isuzu npr diesel automatic transmission?

Well assuming the year..... if it has a jacto transmisson drain and fill is 4qts of mercon3 or 5 if you drop the trans pan and change filter then it will hold 6.5qt. Jatco trans were paired with the 4bd2-tc.engine models. Note: If it has been updated with spin-on aux trans filter add 1qt. If you have a 4heisx or 4hk a drain and spin on filter it will be 3.5-4qts of mercon 3 or 5 if pan and screen is replaced along with the spin-on trans filter then it will be 6.5-7qts Hope this helps. Good luck

We Fixed the head gasket on a 1992 turbo diesel Isuzu flatbed 4cyl Now it cranks but it wont start it did b4 tho Everything was done right no water in the block but maybe the head Any ideas?

the only thing I can think of offhand is you may need to bleed the injectors Powerstroke 57 Well sorry to say but nothing was done right because it won't start right??? Yes I agree you might have air in the fuel lines and it shouldn't take very long to get that small amount from the inj pump to injector. I've done many and they usually start within 1-2min of cranking after the head has been off. Unless you have a large air pocket at the fuel filter. Recheck for air by loosening injector lines at the injectors and see if fuel is coming out. If it is then you have other problems. On the 4bd2-tc is a push rod engine so the cam wasn't removed so your timing wasn't ever changed. If the valves were adjusted re-check that was done correctly. Check the obvious things like the fuel shut off cable on the injection pump for normal operation with keep cranking. Does it sound healthy?? If you can hear an uneven turn over you could have low compression due to the valves being adjusted wrong and or these models are known to crack the pistons if it's ever been overheated, lack of maintenance, or just high mileage. Is it cold??? These models actually depends on the glow plugs to start cold. Is the glow plug system operating correctly?? Other then then the air lock I really couldn't say other then above noted. As always re-check work because something was left off, loose, or just done wrong because it ran before.... Hope this helps, good luck!!
