What is wrong if there's severe pain in the left buttock's that wraps around the outside of the left hip and it leaves a burning sensation on outside of hip er x-rays said they didn't see anything?

It could be pain in the Gluteus Medius muscle which is on the lateral side of the body, hence the hip. It could be lymphatic as well since there are several lymph nodes in the buttocks region that are very deep. It could be a nerve distribution issue in your body depending on size and post injury state.

Burning sensation in forearm when recovering from a dislocated shoulder?
I'm not a shoulder/upper limb expert by any means, I am but an Emergency trainee but my explanation would be as follows: In shoulder dislocation although rare you can damage a nerve called the musculocutaneous nerve which arises from the brachial plexus (around the neck / axilla (armpit). This nerve gives off a division known as the lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm which gives sensation to the outside of the forearm. The burning sensation you are experiencing may be neuropathic pain from irritation / damage of this nerve - don't sepair, this often gets better with time. Perhaps a trial of a pain medication targeting neuropathic pain such as Gabapentin may help, speak to your GP. Hope this helps Dr T Miller.

What could it mean if you have loss of sensation or loss of feeling in the outter thigh?
One possible answer is Meralgia paresthetica, which usually results from compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. It may be caused by obesity, pregnancy or wearing tight clothing or belts, but sometimes the cause is uncertain. It may be associated with tingling, loss of sensation or burning on the lateral or outside of the thigh. Ceasing to wear tight clothing might resolve the problem, however once the condition exists it is unlikely to go away.
