Although, yes, it could be syphilis, it could just be a normal pimple. Many women often have pimples on, in or around the lips of the vagina. My ob/gyn has confirmed that these are normal and yes they are painful but they will go away, and yes when they pop they will ooze puss (just like a regular pimple).

Best treatment: Hot compress on the area of the pimple, and then when ready, squeeze it, it will hurt like you wouldn't believe, but the only way for the pain to diminish is to pop it.

If you have it for more then a couple of days and the pain become unbearable, your ob/gyn can pop it for you, or sometimes if needed, cut it open and let it drain that way.
