What is wrong with a 1996 Dodge Avenger that when you jack up either side on front transmission fluid runs out and now it has started to throw transmission fluid out while driving?

[Edit]

Answer

My girlfriend has the same problem.. If it is an automatic tranny, one of the transmission gaskets rubs against the axle (I believe) and constantly wears. Fixing it will only replace the gasket but not solve the problem as it is a lousy design. I know this is true on the ES (V6), but I am not sure about the 4 cylinder. Fix it if you dare but the auto transmission wont last very long even in good working order. Hope it helps.
