Wuzu is the act of performing ablution or washing yourself up before standing in prayer inest when we go in front of Allah (God Almighty). We all believe that God is the most important being in our lives. We love God and we do not want to go in front of someone we love and communicate and talk to him without being properly cleaned up and dressed. We all want to look our best when we have a pecial meeting with our loved ones. Therefore Muslims try their best to stay clean especially at the time of prayer. Muslims are obligated to pray five times a day and before every prayer they have to perform wuzu; it starts with washing your hands up to the wrists, washing your mouth and gurgling the water till your throat to clean it properly. Runnig water up the nose upto the bone to clean all the snot. Washing the arms upto the elbows. Running wet hands through your hair, the nape of the neck and the ears. Finally washing your feet upto the ankles to remove all dust from them. Wuzu makes you feel fresh and clean to purify your body parts which would be used to perorm prayer.Also before wuzu, you have to make sure you have cleaned the genital area as well.As long as a person does not go to the toilet or pass air or sleep or have sex in between two prayer times, one wuzu is enough and can last throughout the day.One beautiful thing about performing wuzu before prayer is that the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) asked the Muslims; "if you had a river running right next to your house and you washed yourself in it five times a day, could it be possible for you to still stay unclean?" The Muslims said "no". Then the prophet (peace be upon him) said, "in the same way when you perform wuzu and pray five times a day, any sins you have committed between two prayers are washed away like the dirt is washed away with the water".

For Eg: Before offering namaz one must be clean (means he/she must have gusul or wuzu) then can he/she offer namaz. Why is there a wash room in a mosque?

Why all practice of sunnis are anti Quran and shias are per Quran as Sunnis are washing their foot in wuzu while shias doing masah as in quran?
No Muslim, who ever, can claim that Sunnis are anti Quraan and Shias are followers of Quraan or vice versa. Both Sunnis and Shias are Muslims and brothers in Islam. Both worship God the only one God. Both are followers of prophet Mohamed the Messenger of God. Both observing the five Islam Pillars. Both have the same basic Islam beliefs. It is very sinful for any Muslim to accuse another Muslim of being anti Quran. The only differences between Sunnis and and Shias are in the details of some practices and never having differences in the basic pillars of Islam. Now we come to the issue of washing feet for Wuzu (or Wudu). In Quran, said that: "O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces and arms to the elbows; wipe partly your heads and (wash) your feet to the ankles" verse 6- chapter 6. In Arabic , grammatically washing is not only for faces and arms but also for feet while wiping is only for heads and partly (not necessarily full head). However, if anyone- whether Sunnis or Shias - has another different view or explanation of the verse (or other prophet saying) than the above, then no other Muslim has the right to accuse him that he is against Quran or that he nonbeliever.

Answer 1COMPLETE SUBSTITUTE FOR ABLUTION (TAYAMMUM)Tayammum or "to resort to pure earth" may substitute for the ablution and even the bath. This is allowed in any of the following cases:1. When a person is sick and cannot use water;2. When one has no access to water in sufficient quantity;3. When the use of water is likely to cause one harm or make one succumb to disease;4. When performing the ablution will cause the person to miss a prayer which cannot be substituted (e.g. Funeral prayer).In any of these instances it is permissible to do tayammum as follows:1. Strike both hands lightly on pure earth, sand or stone.2. Shake the hands off and wipe the face with them once in the same way as in the ablution.3.
