As a screenwriter, you job is to economize words, because you are limited to the number of words you can use in your four-line description of a scene at its opening, or as a description of a prop or setting.
Green Basketball, tree with roots as branches, large rabbit with a raccoon's head do not exist, but with an economy of words, you can describe them for the people who must bring your imagination to life.

∙ 8y agoThere's only one way to describe anything - use your senses. Especially when you're talking about fiction, you must pull in as many of the senses as you can. Describe what something looks like, certainly, but also what it sounds like and smells like and feels like. (You can add taste if they're going to be licking whatever it is!) Give the reader and the audience a vivid mental image.
