What jobs use no math? In: Job Search |
[Edit] |
Answer
Most jobs require math to some degree. For example, engineers need to know math, economists, statisticians, chemists, computer programmers (they need to know graph theory, number theory, etc), dentists, and so on.
Jobs that don't require math may be actors, novelists, and lawyers.
Nevertheless, math is still useful for day-to-day life, e.g. if you're calculating how fuel efficient your car is, how long you need to save up before you have enough money for a deposit on a home, etc.
Answer
i disagree....eventhough math is not directly involved in a career doesn't mean it has no involvment. math is literally part of every day life. if you plan to earn money, which i hope you do, at least for societies sake, you need to know for example how to at least manage your money, balance your checkbook. Is this your way of saying you hate math and hope to avoid it?
No jobs use no math
The first respondent said actors, novelists and lawyers might use no math. Lawyers calculate monetary settlements and billing information, actors are also businesspeople so they need to understand business math, and novelists have to be able to calculate their royalties and residuals.
Even lettuce pickers need to use math...they have to be able to calculate the amount of money they're owed based on the amount of lettuce they picked.
