What kind of insurance is needed for a commercial cleaning business? |
[Edit] |
Answer
You will need a commercial General Liability and a commercial auto policy if your vehicle is used for business. The underwriters will want to know if you do any window cleaning and how many stories and also if you do floor waxing.
You may also be required by either the state or local government where you are doing business to carry a Surety Bond. These are realatively inexpensive and will protect your business from theft of customer's property by employees. You should check out your state government web site and local government web site to determine if a Surety Bond is required. I have found a web site that specializes in cleaning businesses and you can get an instant quote for liability coverage. It is www.quoteitnow.com. I would check them out and they may be able to help you with everything.
