Dear All, OCT of ringwarm having very low concentration of antifungal and sometimes there may be resistant strains also.To treat ringworm systmic antifungal requires. Better to consult dermatologist for this reason, to get rid of ringworm because severity of fungals infection to be judged clinically and treted accordingly. Try using an OTC Athelete's Foot (Antifungal) Cream. That's what my pharmacist recommended for us.

Since "Ringworm" is actually a fungus instead of an worm (the name comes from what it looks like on the skin, not what actually causes it) , an anti-fungal medication is used to treat it.
