The Jews were not looking for a Messiah, but any expected deliverer who would release them from their oppression. A strong leader of men, a conquering hero who would overcome their oppressors. Any expected deliverer. They certainly did not want a meek and lowly person such as Jeus.

∙ 9y agoJesus was the promised messiah for all mankind - the propitiation for the sins of mankind. He was God, the Word and became a man (Son of Man and Son of God) to fulfill the law, establish His Father's Church making us more aware of the Father and calling out the Firstfruits for HIs Church of God for the remainder of the reign of man - before His 2nd Coming to establish the government of God on Earth.
