It's best to season food to your taste. Some ideas are to use one or more of the options based on your preference; season salt, garlic salt or salt and pepper. I personally use a Goya jamon seasoning. I add the seasoning packet to a small amount of boiling water along with a little salt and pepper and maybe a few chopped onions.
