well it maybe a European starling... there mostly brown with whitish/yellow almost spots.... but they have really long beaks that are yellow or brown.. a fairly medium sized bird as well..
That sounds like a kingfisher only I do not know any of them with a red head. Or maybe a woodpecker, only I do not know any of them with a green back.
