We seem not to have any record of Jane Austen speaking a language in addition to English. It is possible she learned French, and there is a clear understanding of the French terms commonly used in English conversation, but it is also possible she knew these without learning French itself.

As for her native language, her English is quite different from the language spoken today. In fact, if I didn't know French I would find it very difficult to understand. Her punctuation, grammar (her negatives and interrogatives, for instance) are quite archaic.
