The tendons are part of the muscular system!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another answer would be , the tendons are the connection between the muscular and skeletal system , being connective tissue ,neither bone or muscle , but since the greater part of most tendons are attached to the muscle , and are only anchored to bone, then that would make them part of the muscular system.

False; the skeletal system produces both red and white blood cells. Tendons are fibrous cords of connective tissue attaching muscle to bone, cartilage or other muscle. Ligaments help to limit the movement of joints, and hold bones together. Neither of these are produced by the skeletal system, they are part of how it functions.

How do muscles tendons ligaments and joints work together to produce movement?

Muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints all work together to produce movement due to the fact that they are all attached. As the muscles, tendons, and ligaments expand and contract they pull the bones of the joint allowing the joint to move.

What organ system must work together to help a person play a soccer game?

What other system work with the skeletal system?

The Muscular system interacts with most, if not all other systems. It is most directly affected by the skeletal system though, as it provides a place for muscle attachment and support for all.

What organs does the skeletal system share with other systems?

The skeletal system plays a vital role in a variety of functions within the human body. One of the most important roles that the skeletal plays is the production of blood cells through the marrow located within the medullary cavity within the innermost portion of the bone. Long bones (femur, tibia, humerus, etc.) within the skeletal system are the primary locations where hematopoiesis (creation of blood cell components) occurs. Another major role the skeletal system shares in the human body is that of locomotion. The bones are sites of origin and insertion for muscles, tendons, and ligaments. When all these work together in unison it allows us to move around. These various parts are actually part of the bone. The outermost layer of bone is that of the periosteum and this periosteum creates what is called an etheses. An etheses is where muscles, tendons, and ligaments directly attach to bone. In all actuality the tendons and ligaments are continuations of the outermost portion of the bone, the periosteum.

Does the skeletal system initiate body movements?

The skeletal system is a frame to support your body. The brain sends signals to your nervous system which tells your muscles that movement is necessary. Yor muscles are connected to your skeletal frame and help from tendons and ligaments, work together to help your body move. But without good brain function there is no movement if the wave connection is broken.
