Black people may choose to keep their hair short by trimming it often, but their hair can grow quite long. Since it is extremely curly, or kinky, it appears shorter than it actually is. If you consider the huge Afros of the 60s and 70s -- think Angela Davis -- then you will get a good idea of how long the hair of an African-American can be.
because some people like to have long hair so they grow it out. Hair growth is natural. cutting habit is due to civilization. Some people believe it as a religious tradition to grow hair.

How long your hair grows in 3 days depends on your protein intake and plenty of other factors. Some people's hair may grow 1cm in 3 days, others won't grow at all.
Dye your hair black, grow it really long, and cut it w/a knife.
THere is no rule of how long Africans can grow their hair. It is their choice and right to choose how long they want it.
I don't think that's true. Typically a white person's hair is straighter than a black person's hair so the change in length is more obvious when it's growing out. Also, black peoples' hair is thicker, so growing it may take more time. It doesn't. All people's hair gets to a certain point when it stops growing at a certain length. A white person can have hair past their shoulders, and a black person can grow hair upwards of more than a foot long.
