typically nail polish chips because you either do extensive typing or texting. Nail polish will begin to come off because the oils from your nails (and skin) make the adherence of the polish to your nail to become weaker and eventually it will chip, or come completely off.

It's not because it's the colour red; it's either because it's of bad quality, or because with red nail polish you can see the difference between the nail polish colour and your actual nail colour better.

How long does the nail polish on your nails stay on for?

Nail polish does tend to chip very easily, and can look messy by the end of a week of having it on. There are a few things you can do to help it stay on longer. Before applying nail polish, wipe your nails with nail polish remover to help remove the oils in your nails, this will help the nail polish adhere to the nails. Put on a base coat. Apply two coats of your favourite nail polish. Put on a top coat.
