See link for a partial list of medications that you should not take while on methadone. Check with you primary care physician, or with the physician who has prescribed the methadone if you are unsure of a medication.
I know xanex for sure. There is also an antibiotic that is a very dangerous mix. It starts with the letter 'V' is all I can remember.
cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamines for the most part. you can still do marijuana and LSD with no worries.
what antidepressants wile on methadone can i take
Ask your doctor that prescribed the methadone.
Basically everything. So long as it doesn't cause you to steal money from your friends and family in order to satisfy your insatiable need for heroin.
I have a severe ear infection and my doctor perscribed cipo. can this medicine be taken with methadone?
Cocodamal
can you test postive for methadone while taking methocarbamol
No you cant
YOU cannot use tramadol in combination with methadone. It is an opiate antagonist which if you are taking methadone can send you into instant severe withdrawl. I do not have the answer for methadone and fentanyl combination but do not use the tramadol methadone combination. If you do or have you are in for a very very scary experience. There are many pain meds you cannot mix with methadone. Take it from a life long methadone patient who has experienced what it is like to mix an opiate antagonist with methadone........Do not try it............................
Anything that does not contain codeine. Just be careful because there is alcohol and DM in cold meds and they can depress the nervous system.. Just use it as it says on the box and you should be ok.
yes
You can take basically any of the popular over the counter medicines you want for a headache while taking methadone. Tylenol, Advil, Aspirin they are all safe to take while taking methadone. I made sure by contacting several pharmacist and asking. They all confirmed the safety of taking them together.
Yes You can It Works just like it would if you where not on Methadone at least it does for Me I have Used Viagra with it to it also works
Can you take lipozene while on hydrocodon pain meds
Yes, but make sure it is prescribed properly by a physician that knows you are taking either drug.
All I know is ou cannot mix methadone and fentenyl...it eats up your methadone...as for other opiates, if you are maintained ona blocking dose they will help with pain but not get you high unless risking an overdose....called"shooting over the meth"...they cherry meth is injectable by the way....
Taking less methadone would help. Talk to the doctor who prescribed you the methadone. He/she will be able to prescribe an anti-emetic such as Phenergan or change the methadone to another medication (if you are using it for pain).
taking milk thistle actually slows the production of the paticular enzyme that breaks down methadone. therefore it takes your body longer to breakdown the methadone while on milk thistle, increasing the amount (dose) of methadone in your body. Im currently on both and it helps the methadone last longer while tapering.
