First of all Disney died in l966 so it is his descendants. Disney films were long known for taking pot shots at Religion. Churches, if they exist at all are mere backdrop ( for example Mary Poppins). The Mermaid cartoon shows a Bishop, no less as a dirty old man character, and makes indirect plugs against or about the Harrowing of Hell- the two-seeds in the spirit thing where Phantom Mermaid girl descends to the lower region to bail out lost Souls- presumably lost in ship accidents, etc. is outright sacrilege! Paganish rides high and Christianity is slandered. Sickening seafood.

In fact, maybe they want to teach kids sexual things before they get to know it as soon as they get older when thier parents talk to them about it! today in 2012 on Disney Channel they hide it so they wont hear complaints from the loving parents. Hope.i.answered:)
