What military sniper weapon can hit at 2.5 miles? |
[Edit] |
[Edit]
Probably the Barret .50 caliber anti-material rifle. It is extremely powerful, given the size and firepower of its .50 BMG round. It is used chiefly by the U.S. Army.
Any hit at 2.5 miles with a hand-held weapon is probably more a product of luck than anything else. The world record is 1.5 miles. At 2.5 miles, you're aiming so high it's practically artillery.
No existing sniper weapon can RELIABLY hit a target at 2.5 miles.
