Some of the miracles attributed to Saint Teresa of the Andes include the healing of a girl with a severe illness, the cure of a man with a serious heart condition, and the inexplicable preservation of her incorrupt body after her death. These miracles were among the factors that led to her canonization as a saint by the Catholic Church.
I have not heard of any miracles that occurred to St. Teresa. However, due to her intercession the life of a 12 year old girl was saved. Marcela Antúnez Riveros was on a class trip in Chile when she drowned. She had been under water for about 5 minutes before she was discovered. When they finally brought her out of the pool even more time had been lost. She was not breathing and had no pulse. Her classmates immediately dropped to their knees and prayed that St. Teresa intercede on the behalf of their classmate. Almost immediately, Marcel responded. She was rushed to the hospital where she made a complete recovery. The miracle was all that was needed to complete the canonization process for Teresa.
