where can I get raw oysters?
Oysters are low in both fat and carbs and therefore in calories. Six raw oysters is less than 1 point therefore I would expect you to be able to eat as many as you want. Although eating that many oysters could upset your stomach.
Why wouldn't you be able to? Unless you're one medicine or anything and the label doesn't say anything about raw oysstars Yes!

Can you freeze raw oysters in the shell?Nov 25, 2009I've gathered hundreds of oysters over the past 15 years - as a significant food source! Freezing oyster plus shell, is a major waste of space! Shuck the oyster, saving the juice, Combine the meat and juice, putting them into a zip lock bag.Boil the shells, to kill off any periwinkles, limpets, krell. Let the shells dry, store in an open container. They will then be ready to be used as serving dishesYou would be surprised at how many sea food restaurants "recycle" their oyster shells, many times!Be sure any oysters / clams are collected from waters free of PSP (paralytic shellfish poisoning) Gulf of Mexico shellfish / clams / oysters are now on a major Federal food watch.
you can eat cooked oysters year round, but raw oysters can have a bacteria once the bay gets over 74degrees. some people have no problems consuming this bacteria while others get sick, and there are a half dozen deaths each year.
According to the National Center for Home Food Preservation, oysters in the shell can be frozen - but only if they are alive. See Related Links.
