I haven't tried this in a blooming planter, but:
I get ants in my apartment, and most people around here do. However, I discovered that a household cleaner kills ants.
At Whole Foods (or Kroger), buy the Seventh Generation "Green Mandarin & Leaf" Natural All-purpose cleaner. Spray it on the ants and where they are getting in. It will kill them on contact. I'm not kidding, they die on the spot.
I found this out by accident, searching for natural products I had in the house that contained mint (this has a bit of spearmint in it), b/c supposedly ants hate mint. Peppermint tea did nothing, this did everything.
Try it. It's non-toxic, no fumes, hypo-allergenic, and has no phosphates.
It sounds like it would be fine around plants, as it is non-toxic. The ingredients are: natural emulsifier to allow water to mix with oil (coconut-based surfactant)...sodium citrate (builds alkalinity), whole and natural plant essences (mandarin, spearmint, pettigrain essential oils, preservative (less than 0.05%), Water.
The only thing is, I can't say if your plants are happy around spearmint or mandarin...
At any rate, it will work elsewhere if not on the planter, and you can always clean your house with the rest!
It will not hurt them but it is not a natural food for a dog.
There are a variety of natural laxatives that are safe to give to dogs including: water, pumpkin, bran, milk, olive oil, milk of magnesium, and Metamucil.
You find out if something is safe or not and you find out the effectiveness of something. But animal experimentation is not fool proof and sometimes all the hard work of testing is usless. I think that we should stop animal experimentation and stick with good old natural things instead of trying to find out if chemicals are safe.
No.They are not safe.
Move the books. There is nothing you can do to stop a bunnies normal, natural behaviors; it is up to you to make the room safe for a rabbit while taking into account the rabbits normal behaviors.
Boiling water poured directly on the plant.

Although killer whales, or orcas, have no natural predators, they are threatened by loss of prey due to over-fishing and over-hunting by humans, loss of safe habitat due to human actvities, pollution (oil and PCBs), and capture for marine mammal parks.
they will have to fight to be safe
Very safe.
nope, appplanet is a serial killer. stay away!
what painkillers are safe to take with celebrex
Natural gas releases carbon dioxide when it is burnt so it is not safe anywhere.
Polar Bears and Killer Whales (Orca) are the two main predators of the beluga whale. Polar bears take particular advantage of situations when belugas become trapped by ice and are thus unable to reach the ocean. The bears swipe at the belugas and drag them onto the ice. The killer whale is its other significant natural predator.
Where can I get some carpet cleaning natural chemicals? I have a lot of pets and I want them safe!
The future for Killer Whales is looking good, not many of them have died, and there are still millions out there :] Don't hesitate, their all safe!
Not sure when this post was made but, RIGHT NOW or a few hours ago (not sure) there was/is a killer on the loose. Stay safe!
