Photosynthesis requires: Carbon dioxide (CO2), Hydrogen and Oxygen (in the form of water H2O), these are required to produce glucose, fructose (and sucrose). Sunlight + CO2 + H2O = C6H12O6 + O2
Normal growth (growing processes) require the following "macronutrients" - these are the building blocks of plant growth:
N - Nitrogen (NO3 or NH4)
P - Phosphorus (PO4)
K - Potassium (potassium salts)
S - Sulfur (SO4)
Ca - Calcium (calcium nitrate)
Normal growth (metabolic processes) require the following "micronutrients" - these are used to synthesis protiens, vitamins and enzymes that are required to carry out other metabolic functions:
Mg - Magnesium
Fe - Iron
Cu - Copper
Zn - Zinc
Mn - Manganese
Mo - Molybdenum
B - Boron
Si - Silica
Hi! I am currently doing a research project on what specific nutrients are needed to promote plant growth. Since the pea plant contains a bacteria which can fix nitrogen most of it's nutrients are used from that to grow. However, you will need to use the correct fertilizer for overall plant growth using three nutrients: potassium, phosphate, and nitrogen. Nitrogen plays a big role in the pea plants overall roots and plant growth but the other two help aid in the structure of the pea plant. The potassium fertilizers help with the immune system of the plant and the phosphate fertilizers help stimulate the roots. Hope this helped! Go to a local greenhouse and get help from from one of the staff, they're a really big help! They can also help with specific fertilizers you need for your plant!
carbondioxide,water,sun
The three main nutrients are nitrogen(N), phosphorus(P), and potassium(K)
The plant needs water, sunlight, and dirt or soil.
what nutrients do plants need for optinal growth
Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphates are the main requirements along with a range of trace elements.
soil sun and water and nutrients
water, soil, pea, solar energy.
He studied plants and was a gardener.
a friend claims that pea plants grow faster than corn plants could you investigate this idea through scientific inquiry
Gregor Mendel used pea plants in his experiments to study heredity
Mendel became famous for his study of the pea plant. Gregor Mendel's study of this plant led to significant contributions in the field of genetics and heredity. He is called the" father of modern genetics." Mendel was born in 1822 and died in 1884.
how funny I got that question for homework today anyway I think it is to give plants the nutrients they need to grow rain is needed too
mendel worked with pea plants because they were easy to grow.
Of course pea plants can grow in pots, but be warned make sure you dont overcrowd your pot and give it something to climb up on..

no; because it is like mud

As with all plants, the pea plants of which Gregor Mendel studied needed time to grow and mature into adult pea plants. His discoveries in the world of genetics and how traits are passed from parent to offspring would not have been at all possible if he did not wait long enough for the plants to mature. He needed such a long time to study them for the reason that plants will only reproduce if they are sexually mature enough to do so.
water... what kind of question is this.
About 36 days
They use the coffee grounds as nutrient.
They are plants that grow peas on them, usually in pods.
pea plants show very different traits that are easy to tell apart and they grow relatively fast
Plants use the tendrils to anchor themselves to any available support. This allows the plants to grow better.
