If you need a bright purple then it is better to use any blue and magenta instead of red. Red is traditional, but magenta is the technically correct primary color. Adjust the proportions to get a pinker or bluer purple. Hope that helps!
Red and Brown
Red and blue make up purple, or violet.
I would probably put a primer coat on first. A good primer is Kilz, which will also cover stains. It is worth the money to buy a good brand of primer since it will save you work and make your new paint look its best.
Orange is one colour that should not be worn with lime green. Other florescent colours like bright yellow or pink are probably not a good choice either because it would make you too bright and too loud. Unless you're the type of person who loves to wear loud and bright colours...
It makes a color there is no name for! It starts of brown, but if you paint it on something and let it dry for 24 hours, It turns into a new color! Try it and name the color yourself?
Red and Blue would form purple - as you add more blue into the mixture the colour created would be a darker purple, you can also add TINY amounts of yellow to create a brown/purple outcome, too much yellow to the mix would create a dirty looking green.
