Asparagus can be eaten raw in salads or they can be bought canned. The tastiest way to eat them is by simply steaming them or plunging them into boiling water for a minute until they are cooked but still crunchy. Asparagus tastes nice as part of a starter platter wrapped in prosciutto. Asparagus can also be added to soups and stews.

The inner flesh. You remove the seeds and stringy membrane just like cleaning out a pumpkin.

Best way to cook a spaghetti squash.

Cut the squash length wise splitting it in half.

Remove the seeds and stringy pulp leaving the flesh.

oil, salt and pepper, bake the squash cut side down at 350F for 40 minutes.

remove from oven cool and remove flesh from skin with a fork.

You can also add tomato sauce and serve in the skin.
