I live in the Bahamas a group of islands and cays located off the coast of south Florida, in my country " dodder " is commonly called love vine. It is used as a herbal medicine for strengthening the back muscles, it is also supposed to provide males with an increased stamina. It is beaten and then boiled until the solution is viscous ( thick ), this is drinked as a tea or a sweetened beverage. Drinking too often may cause the body's blood pressure to increase.
