I've heard that there are 4 groups in reference to classical music.
1. The 1st group which consists of about 5% of the population absolutely love Classical Music.
2. The 2nd group consists of those who don't mind listening to classical-Roughly 40%
3. The 3rd group which is about 30% of the population dislike classical music basically because they've never really listened to it...so they are ignorant.
4. The 4th group consists of those who hate classical music, for personal reasons, etc..-so roughly 15% of the population
But i think everyone should love classical music. Without Classical, there wouldn't modern music. You should appreciate & respect Classical even if you don't like it.

Whereas the other music has words, feelings & most important dance in it, so people prefer to listen then & entertaining. So, never say Classical Music is boring. It depends on the individual taste.
