Anything from March on is safe to feed your pets, but I can imagine you are like me and still don't trust what you hear. There needs to be better regulations regarding dog products and that includes treats. I live in British Columbia, Canada and now use "GO" (no wheat gluten used) and also the brand "Chicken Soup" same thing. Anything WITHOUT wheat gluten is OK to feed your dog or cat. Just read the labels or phone your vets and ask their advice.
Wellness foods are highly recommended! They are grain-free and contain human-grade meat protein. As a person involved in animal welfare and breeder of Siberian cats, I use only Wellness products. Cats and kittens love it! There are certain others that may be as healthy. Like the other person who answered this question, I advise that people read the labels of any foods they are considering buying! Also, expect to pay more for quality! Your loyal friends deserve it!
