My understanding of Rorys problem was that he suffered from headaches after gigs and got concentrated panodol from a friend of his and became dependant on it , of which his brother Donal on discovering this went balistic. so from what i can gather in the end Rory liked a shot or two of Jack Daniels combined with conc panadol was enough to damage any mans liver. he required a liver tranplant and was recovering quite well from it, only to catch the MRSA bug which is what took the greatest guitarist of all time away.
