What problems can occur from engine oil overfill
Overfilling oil is not recommended. If engine temperatures become high enough the pressure will cause oil to leak out of the filter and dirty engine parts. If it enters into the air box, problems will occur.
FUEL WILL BACK UP INTO THE GAS TANK VENT LINE CAUSING THE COMPUTED TO THINK THERE IS A RICH CONDITION AND TURN ON THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON OR EMISSIONS LITE
it will burn oil and damage the plugs and emissions systems resulting in a check engine light and in 02 sensors and cat converter replacement which will keep the car from passing inspection until repaired. drain excess oil with a topsider or at the drain plug. do not drive with the car in this state
If you overfill the fuel tank it will just spill on the ground. Nothing else will happen. Best to stop filling when the fill nozzle shuts off. Especially in the summer. The fuel needs a little room to expand.
Minor problems will be increased engine noise and vibration, jerkiness when putting it to gear, etc. Worst case scenario will be the engine falling off from the mountings...
It would depend entirely on the transmission being filled. Most transmissions have a fill hole on the side, making it impossible to over fill unless it was on its side on a bench. But if yours is some different type of design, it may be possible to over fill the tranny fluid, just as it is possible to overfill engine oil.
How much overfilled is it? damage to the crank case may occur. I suggest draining the oil to the proper level immedietly.

Major ozone problems occur in stratosphere. It is where the ozone is located.
There would probably be no damage to the O ring but there will be damage to the engine from lack of lubrication. If you overfill the crankcase this allows the crankshaft to make contact with the excess oil in the resivoir. This will create a froth of oil mixed with air. Air is a horrible lubricant and this air mixed with the oil will cause engine overheating and wear on all moving parts. Drain out all excess oil and only fill it to the full mark on the dipstick.
