David Prowse was in the suit. George Lucas decided that the voice (Prowse had a very Scottish accent) didn't fit the charechter-so he found a man who was born in Mississippi, raised in Michigan and was a stutterer... that man was James Earl Jones. He gave us the iconic Darth Vader voice. So Prowse was the body, Jones was the pipes, and a scuba tank was the lungs :)
