What is beleived to have happened is Army Major Nidal Hasan opened fire on a group of soldiers and cilivilians, killing fourteen (including an unborn child) and wounding thirty. Hasan himself was shot, allegedly by a first responder, a police woman from nearby Killeen, Texas. The motivation of the shooting is still unknown and can only result in speculations.
