There is no actual one religion for terrorists because terrorists come in all forms from all over the world.
Timothy McVeigh (the Oklahoma Bomber) was an American citizen and raised and confirmed Catholic and while not a practicing Catholic after his military time, he adhered to their core beliefs. Yet those that bombed the World Trade Center on Sept, 11th were of Muslim faith. But it is important to note that their particular sect of Muslim is called "extreme" as they do not follow, or believe, what the Koran teaches which is to never kill.
So to sum it up, there is no one religion that terrorists belong to and it is a wide-spread misconception that they are all Muslim only.

Islam is a religion of peace. The root word of the Arabic word of Islam is "salem" that means one to be in peace. It is the western media that propagated the idea of terrorism of Islam religion to justify invasion of the western countries to Islamic countries claiming waging war against terrorism while the main purpose is to get control of the energy and mineral resources of those Islamic countries. When you find a terrorist whose religion is Islam they call him/her by his/her religion as an Islamic terrorist. When you find a terrorist whose religion is Christianity or Judaism they call him.her by his/her nationality as Us or English or Japanese terrorist. What about the massacres committed against Muslims in Serbia, Burma, Chechen, the Palestinian territoriality, Iraq, and other countries. Are the killers Muslim terrorists?!
This false impression about Islam is propagated by Media just to divert non Muslims away from Islam and resist the flow of non Muslims who convert to Islam when they recognize it truthfulness and recognize the scientific miracles in Quran that prove it is a true God revelations to prophet Muhammad. Hmm, there is no sect of Islam known as "Extreme". There are Sunni, Sufi, Shiia and Wahabbi. All follow the Koran which commands:

- Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191
- Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God's entirely. - Sura 2:193 and 8:39

I don't know enough to give you a good answer, this is a complicated question, but I hope to contribute to an answer. I can only comment on Abrahamic religions, and even there only limited.
Let me first try to clarify your question. As I understand you: Which religions can be interpreted, (without unmistakable EVIDENCE to the contrary,) to have it's God/Gods support for terrorist acts?

Here it is, more than any mans word, the scriptures that are of importance.
If you search on Wikipedia, you'll get hits on "Christian terrorism", "Jewish religious terrorism" and "Islamic terrorism". On Google you might also search for Terrorism Bible, Terrorism Torah or perhaps Terrorism Koran. You might get some hits there too. Seems to me that someone has the opinion that all the three Abrahamic scriptures can be interpreted to give support to terrorism. But I don't know.
I don't know much about this and I hope that there are someone out there that are able to contribute to an answer, because this is a very important question you are asking.

∙ 9y agoThe Middle East is over 90% Muslim, so it should not be surprising that most Middle Eastern Terrorists are Muslims. (If we divide between Sunnis and Shiites, there are more Sunni Muslim Terrorists.) There are terrorists of other religions in the Middle East, but the overwhelming majority are Muslims.
