Depends. Solar energy can convert to electricity via solar cells. Wind energy can convert to electricity by turning a generator. Bio-fuels can burn to create steam to turn a turbine, or they can burn to generate thermoelectric power via dissimilar metals. Thermal heat from within the earth (earth-thermal) can make steam to make electric via turbines, or create electric via thermoelectric methods. Water flows through sluice gates and turns generators.
In the future, we may invent micro organisms to go from sunlight to electric.
well, renewable resources are air water and sun. for air, people use windmills to generate electricity. for water, a hydroelectricity dam is built and for sun, people use solar panals to make electricity. hope this helps!!
Electricity is generated from renewable energy resources by turning turbines e.g. hydroelectricity and wind power. The kinetic energy of the turbines is then harnessed to produce electricity.
Every renewable energy source produces electricity. (Hydropower/Dams, Wind Power, Solar Power)
Sun (solar), water (hyrdo) and wind.
renewable or renewable resource
Not in the literal sense of the words "Mechanical Energy". It depends on the source of the mechanical energy. If the source is renewable, like solar or wind generated electricity, then the mechanical energy is renewable. If the source is non-renewable, like electricity from burning oil, then it is non-renewable.
it can be either renewable or nonrenewable resource.
Okay, so renewable energy is basically energy that can be used again, and is an endless resource; the opposite to things like coal which are burnt- full stop. Solar panels can transform sunlight (renewable energy) into electricity, wind turbines can transform wind power into electricity and dams can do the same with hydraulic power I think. Electricity can be turned into heat in turn, or heat can be found directly from the sun, a renewable energy source. I hope this helps!
"Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished).""A non-renewable resource is a natural resource which cannot be produced, grown, generated, or used on a scale which can sustain its consumption rate. These resources often exist in a fixed amount, or are consumed much faster than nature can create them."A:non-renewable energy is energy that can only be used once eg. (coal, oil, natural, gas, uranium etc) renewable energy is energy that can be used over and over eg. (solar power, wind power etc)A:its what energy will not be finished in the time to come. when a source is present in abundance/plenty, it is known as renewable energy such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat and A non-renewable resource is a natural resource which cannot be produced, grown, generated, or used on a scale which can sustain its consumption rate, once depleted there is no more available for future needs.
the energy which can be used again and again for our use like solar energy, wind energy to use electricity. the others types of energy resource which will be renewable. it is present more in rajasthan
Renewable energy is energy, usually electricity, generated from wind, solar, water, geothermal and other renewable resources. The electricity is used to power businesses, machinery and appliances in most countries round the world.
Yes! Because the energy can be renewable.
Answer : YES Renewable power sources and non-renewable power souces are both used to generate electricity, which is then transfered through the 'power grid' (power lines) to different houses. Electricity generated from renewable sources is not different in any way to electricity generated by non-renewable sources. Therefore, they can both be used at the same t5ime

Wind is a renewable resource on earth. Wind turbines can be used to catch the wind's energy and be used to create electricity.
According to US Energy Information Administration data for 2009, solar energy (based on electricity net generation kilowatthour billion figures) accounted for just 0.2% of total renewable electricity generated in 2009 and just 0.02% of total electricity generated in 2009. All renewable sources (mostly sourced from hydroelectric) accounted for 10.7% of total electricity generated.
According to US Energy Information Administration data for 2009, geothermal energy (based on electricity net generation kilowatthour billion figures) accounted for 3.58% of total renewable electricity generated in the USA in 2009 and just 0.38% of total electricity generated in 2009. All renewable sources (mostly sourced from hydroelectric, geothermal and wind) accounted for 10.7% of total electricity generated.
A renewable resource has the ability to reproduce using natural or biological processes. The answer to you question depends on how you are heating water if you are using solar energy to heat water than is a renewable resource but if you are using fossil fuel are energy that is produced by using fossil fuels( i.e electricity) then it is a non renewable resource.
Hydro-electricity is a purely perfect example. Others, Quizzies?
